History

North Hastings Palliative Support (original name) was started by two nurses in the basement of the old Bancroft Red Cross Outpost Hospital over 13 years ago. Hospice North Hastings began with the Home Visiting Program and now offers a Medical Equipment Loan Cupboard, a Lending Library, a Residential Hospice and Bereavement/Grief Support. Hospice North Hastings had an office above Pizza Delight in the old Canadian Tire store and from there to our wonderful Hospice House located at 27 Bridge St. East in Bancroft.
